Blood Point: The Bloody Edition. Get it here!

A pile of copies of Blood Point, a horror novel by Alexander Lane

There’s a special edition of Blood Point that you can only buy direct from my new web store, through the Great British Book Shop and in person at events around the UK.

The Bloody Edition features the original artwork from Design for Writers, which Amazon Advertising has deemed too gory for their store.

Amazon shoppers and Kindle Unlimited readers will now receive the Bloodless Edition, with de-gored cover art.

This surprise judgement from Amazon was perfectly timed for the launch of direct sales via BookVault, and UK-based distribution through the Great British Book Shop.

You can also get the Nightmare Vacations novels in paperback from The Heath Bookshop in Kings Heath, Birmingham, recently recognised as Britain’s best independent book shop.

Pick up a signed copy of The Bloody Edition

And if you want something really special, you can buy a personal signed copy of The Bloody Edition at any one of these events around the UK:

I’ll be doing more events through the winter months and into 2026. Watch this space!

It’s a bloody bargain!

Whether you buy it in person or online, The Bloody Edition in print is also about 10% cheaper than its pale siblings at Cowboy Jeff’s Online Bazaar. I can’t tell you how much it will end up with shipping, but the printing costs work out better for everyone and you’ll be supporting UK businesses too.

Unfortunately, I cannot sell physical books into the EU from my website because new EU product safety rules are too onerous for a sole trader.
