Writer on the road: Events in 2026

Do you want to meet a real-life author, blinking in the daylight as they escape the garret where they’re scribbling away between cups of tea and too many biscuits? Come to one of these events in 2026 to buy my books, get them signed or just say hello.

The best thing about these events is that you get to meet and browse books by loads of authors, sometimes across a wide range of genres, and we’re always pleased to meet people who enjoy reading.

At events in 2026, I’ll be adding more titles to the line-up, with an exclusive print edition of Blood Type. There might even be a new Nightmare Vacation by the end of the year!

And don’t forget, in-person events are the place to buy Blood Point: The Bloody Edition (cover art not available in ebook or on Amazon).

Book Fairs and Events for 2026

  • Coventry Book Extravaganza, February 28th, Albany Theatre, Coventry. Authors and book-adjacent folks of all kinds.
  • Indie Horror Chapter 4: Liverpool, April 11th, The Liner Hotel, Liverpool. Horror authors from the UK and beyond, with special guest Ramsey Campbell.
  • Manchester Book Bonanza, April 18th, The Alan, Manchester. Authors of every flavour.
  • London Book Bonanza, May 16th, London South Bank University. If you or your family love reading, you’ll find something here.
  • ScribeFest, June 28th, The Barns At Hunsbury Hill, Northampton. A day in the country for writers and readers.
  • Coventry Festival of Books, July 11-12th, National Trust, Charterhouse, Coventry. A weekend event from the Book Extravaganza team, part of the National Year of Writing 2026. I’ll be there on Sunday, July 12th.

That’s it for now. I’ll be adding more events as the year rolls on. If you’re running a book fair or convention in the UK, drop it in the comments or send me a message. I’d love to know more.
